Athens Equestrian Festival 2024

«Athens Equestrian Festival 2024» returns to Markopoulo!

For the fourth year in a row, the Athens Equestrian Festival meets horse sport enthusiasts at the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulos. The major international show jumping event of global interest will take place over four days, from May 30th to June 2nd.

More than 200 riders from all over Europe will compete for the rich prizes with a total value of approximately €180,000.

The Athens Equestrian Festival 2024 includes four separate events. The Longines EEF Series Athens CSIO3*-W, part of the Longines EEF Series 2024, sponsored and organized by the European Equestrian Federation – EEF, a CSICh-B for children, a CSI1* and a CSIYH*. A total of 21 events will take place over the four days, including team events of the EEF Evolution League.

In the Athens CSIO3 *-W schedule dominates the Longines EEF Series Nations Cup team competition on Sunday, June 2 at 16.00, which is a qualifying event for the southern region of the Longines EEF Series. Teams from five countries, Greece, Italy, Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Romania are expected to compete in the Athens Team Competition, accumulating points and aiming to qualify for the Grand Final in Warsaw, Poland in September.

Along with the athletes of the teams, top riders from Central Europe will take part in the events of the program, including the important and most prestigious Grand Prix event, which will take place on Friday, May 31 at 17:00.

The schedule will be starting every day at 8.30 and ending on all four days after 19.00.

Entry is free for spectators, while all events will be broadcasted in live streaming from the online platform https://www.clipmyhorse.tv/en_EU/  through the event site https://athenscsi.gr/live-streaming

ERT, the National Greek TV, through the online platform ERTFLIX, will broadcast live the Team competition of the Longines EEF Series on Sunday, June 2 at 17.00.

Also, as part of the Athens Equestrian Festival 2024, other events for young and old fans of the sport are held alongside the competitions. Such as an art exhibition by Dafni Votanopoulou, as well as horses for equestrian rides, for the children.
